If your pool hasn't got any form of lighting don't despair this can be solved by installing the latest LED lighting. Though more expensive than traditional spot lights, LEDs consume 80% less ( which is very welcome today when electric companies are squeezing more and more out of us ) and last up to 100,000 hours, according to manufacturers. We have just reformed a large community pool and installed LED lighting where there was none before.
This involved cutting a superficial channel into the pool shell for the new cable, drilling a number of holes for the new light assembly, running a cable or cables with multiple lights to the power source and installing transformers and an automatic time clock to control when the lights come on and off. As the photos illustrate, once completed the new tiling which cover the cable are imperceptible.
